2nd Annual ALGBTIC/ACES Rainbow Run

5K & 1-Mile Walk for Wellness & Equality

Proceeds benefit local LGBTQ/mental health organizations!

Come give back to the community and support LGBTQ equality, counseling and mental health awareness!!

We have great TIE-DYE t-shirts and diverse categories including:

Men, Women, Androgynous/Transgender, & Differently-Abled (Note:  although Active.com does not allow one to register as androgynous, transgender or differently-abled you will be able to check in at packet pickup under any  category).

Basic Information for Race Day

Pricing: The 5K Run & 1-Mile Walk is $25 if you register on or before Friday March 28th and $30 after March 28th and on race day.

Race Day Registration: Race day we will accept CASH OR CHECK only.Proceeds: Proceeds will benefit a local LGBTQ organization/mental health recovery organization.

T-Shirts: TIE-DYE t-Shirts are guaranteed for all participants who register on or before March 17, 2014. After that time you are not guaranteed a T-shirt. Shirts are short-sleeve and made from cotton and range in size from small-XXL.

Volunteers: Volunteers will be provided by ALGBTIC/ACES. Volunteers should arrive at the start line at 6:15am.

Race Course: WILL BE POSTED SOON at algbtic.org

Food & Drink: There will be an aid station on course providing water. Food and drink will be provided after the run & walk.

Restrooms: Restrooms are available on site near the start/finish line.

Parking: Parking is available at the race site. You may have to pay to park. Further information on transportation will be listed as it becomes available on ALGBTIC.org and ALGBTIC’s Facebook page.

First Aid: There will be medical staff on hand to ensure a safe race.

Presenting Sponsor: The Rainbow Run 5K & 1-Mile Walk for Wellness & Equality are presented by the Association of LGBT Issues in Counseling (ALGBTIC), the Association of Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES), Alexander Street Press and the American Counseling Association (ACA) in cooperation with local race/timing organizations.

USATF Sanctioning: This will be a USA Track and Field Sanctioned Race.
