ACESGS is an unmoderated listserv primarily for graduate students in counselor education and supervision.  The listserv is intended to be a place for graduate students to dialogue with each other about the topics they are learning in classes, research they are conducting, ideas about counseling and supervision, the counseling profession, assistance with job searches, etc.  Active membership in the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES) Division of the American Counseling Association (ACA) is strongly encouraged. It is to everyone's advantage for listserv members to participate in the discussions.

This listserv is intended to be used for academic and professional purposes and each person utilizing this listserv has the responsibility to conduct him or her self in a professional manner. The use of inappropriate content or language will result in removal from the listserv. The listserv manager and monitors have the discretion to determine if content or language is inappropriate. NEW MEMBERS are encouraged to make an introductory post about themselves and their role in the counseling profession.  Remember that everything you post to the list - and every time you select "reply" or "reply all" from a post, your message will go out to the entire listserv.
